At least ORCA could achieve place # 2 out of 22.000 companies which have been suggested by the Industry of Hamburg! ORCA Maritime GmbH will participate the award on 8th of September carried out by Hamburg's 1st Mayor Mr. Christoph Ahlhaus! For the time beeing ORCA Maritime is having first negotiations for orders with extent dimensions! End of February / begin of March 2010 a follow up meeting and indoctrination days in China are in preparation!

- Dec/09: From 19th thru 20th of January 2010 the 2nd 'Indoctrination Days 2010' will be hold at the ORCA Maritime Head Office Hamburg for ORCA Representatives from Cyprus, Canada, Norway, Australia, Spain, Denmark and Korea.

- Oct/09: Official commencement for the 2-year research project FokiS (f.t. film preservation within shipbuilding) in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute Rostock at 1st of November 2009. During a very expensive and large-scaled test procedure, carried out by SOLVAY PHARMACEUTICALS Germany, the self adhesive ORCA 9800HT Film has been passed all necessary H²O² degasing tests successfully! From now the self adhesive ORCA 9800HT Film is the worldwide unique official approved surface coating to be used in cleanrooms.
